Local heating oil syndicate

For some time now residents of Grafham and Perry having been operating a heating oil syndicate scheme, and there are currently around 200 members. This scheme is now being made available to other local villages including Southoe.  It is totally free to join, and you are under no obligation whatsoever to make a purchase.  It works very simply - each month members are e-mailed to determine their needs, then several suppliers are contacted to get the best possible price. Members are then e-mailed again with the price and asked to confirm that they wish to purchase. The details of those wanting to purchase are passed to the relevant supplier who will ring you to arrange delivery and payment.  Since the scheme started over a year ago thousands of pounds have been saved using this method. If you wish to join, or want further information, you can call Adrian Arnett on 07788 409301, or e-mail

FREE donkey manure available for composting. It can be collected from the bottom of Rectory Lane. If necessary we can arrange to deliver, in Southoe, by ringing Janet or Ian on 01480 218626.
